Electric Go Karts

Electric go-karts are a more recent option that is growing in popularity. The reason for this is the many advantages which they offer compared to gasoline powered ones. These advantages are primarily centered around clean and efficient running.

For instance, electric go-karts create no emissions. This is of growing interest in today's energy-conscious world. They are also considerably low maintenance. This latter quality can be very appealing to those operating many different vehicles as part of an amusement park or other casual entertainment arena.

There are at least two facilities today dedicated to battery electric go-karts. They are located in Pennsylvania and California. A floor-rail electric facility also exists in Ontario. Europe has a battery electric circuit which holds five events per year at different tracks. A range of sizes and performance options are available of the electric variety.
